It is generally advisable to split your sections into Technical and Soft skills so there is a lot more room to show your skills. Let us talk about Technical Skills first.

Not all colleges require their final year students to pursue projects. I went to a college that had a final year project requirement to meet the degree requirements but it was fair to say it was up to me to do the project. While this flexibility was good in a way so I could pick the project I want to work on etc., it was also confusing since I was so used to delivering everything under tight deadlines and meeting strict requirements on the academic front. So all of a sudden this total freedom was something I was not prepared for and spent a lot of time figuring out what project I wanted to work. I was talking about an era when internet was not widely available and you would go to college labs basically to access internet.
But, I learned the value of projects that I totally bombed as a final year undergraduate student much later in life. If I were to do all over again. I would do a few things differently and that forms the meat of the next few paragraphs.
Firstly, understand that your project is going to be your work experience on your resume and in your life until you get a real job and start gaining work experience. So, treat your project opportunity when you are still in college as something valuable becaue it is valuable.
What a wonderful opportunity it is to tailor your work experience the way you want without the pressure of a manager or without the fear of failure, which is often the case in a formal employment setting.
Firstly, as a BBA student, you realize that your skills are at the intersection of a variety of functions, such as technology, marketing, operations, sales, accounting and finance. You can even consider yourself as someone who has a decent shot at HR functions. Given this situation, it is important that you identify what are some of the functions you want to get your first job in, and those are the candidate opportunities for your project. If it difficult to make up your mind as to which functions you want to work in once you graduate, start with the functions you don’t want to work in.
Functions like HR, finance, and accounting are usually for those that strongly identify themselves with those functions and usually stick around in those functions for long, if not for ever. You could develop perspectives on the functions you want to avoid by talking to a few who already work in functions. It is easier to find them within the circle of your friends and family.
Now you should have identified the functions you want to work in and so it should be easier to pick a project idea that cuts across those job functions.
For example, if you like a role in operations and you also like technology, you might want to consider taking a project that cuts across these two functions so during the interview you would have a great project to talk about. A typical project that cuts across technology and operations can be found by doing a simple google search. In this case, your project does not even have to involve programming. It could be simple research and ranking of latest technologies that operations can use to become more efficient. Or, if you have some interest and knowledge in programming, you could develop a simple application or a design of an application for a specific operations use case. Both would be wonderful projects on your resume. Remember, your project is your work experience until you find your first full time employment.
Another example in the case of someone having interests in marketing and technology could be researching and ranking latest advancements in social media marketing. Or, it could be developing a cost-effective social media marketing strategy for a fictitious tech start-up.
